personality: It was no secret during her time at Hogwarts that Cho was an exceptionally complicated teenager- not that it wasn't warranted. The unfortunate combination of the death of a boyfriend and beloved parents that placed a constant pressure on her shoulders to exceed and surpass the expectations of her peer group had a tendency to wear down on her mental health. That is to say, the young Cho Chang hated to disappoint and because of both external pressures and a deep seated internal desire to make those around her happy, she rarely questioned if this was what would make Cho happy. There had been a time in the young girls life where she thought just so long as those around her were contented, then she too would find inner peace. 

These were simply the idealistic convictions of a little girl. Looking back on that girl now, there are a series of feelings that bubble up in her gut: Guilt, shame, and indignation are to name a few.
