Well I said I'd write, so here you go. How's school? Are you enjoying your classes or is it weird being there without me and Ron? Just kidding, I didn't mean that. It's different for me, not having you around all the time. 

Work is fine. I don't really have much to say about it. You'd be proud of me though. I've been working on Occlumency and I think I'm starting to get it down. 

Tell me what's going on with you. Or ask me questions because I don't know what else to say.

Hello! I'm so glad you wrote. I miss you and Ron terribly, of course, Harry. It is weird, don't sell yourself short. But, FOR ONCE, I can focus on classes. So that is a blessing. But I do miss you, insanely.

I'm glad work is fine... oh! Occlumency! I'm so glad you're working on it! I think that you should really keep that up. It's just a valuable skill and I expect you to utilize it ofren.

Well, there is one thing that a bit distracting, not nearly as disctrating as you and Ron though so don't worry, you're not being replaced.
Viktor is here. He's apparently teaching flying class and he's walking with a cane. I feel terrible that I don't even know what's wrong. We wrote for so long and now I'm just so out of touch. We were great friends, Harry. You know?

So, that's my news. I'm also Head Girl, as you know.

Well if you said it wasn't weird, I was going to come up with something funny to say, but you went along with my plans. Also, when did you not focus on classes before? I'm pretty sure you've always been pretty focused on those, honestly. Miss you back. Might have to come visit you in Hogsmeade or something. Would you be up for that?

Yes, I thought you'd be proud of me for that. Hopefully I'll be able to use it at work, but I will say it's a nice way to help myself relax and be able to go to sleep better, which I didn't expect.

Viktor, as in Viktor Krum right? You'd better not be replacing me with him! No, I didn't mean that either. Haven't you been able to talk with him at all, or not yet? I haven't heard from him either, but we were never as close as you two were. You should talk to him, see what happened. Or just catch up with him in general. 

I think you're trying to rub that in, being Head Girl. You told me that over the summer, you know.

Well, I still want to hear the funny thing you were going to say! And PLENTY OF TIMES. Like when you two would drag me around! I mean, it's nice to JUST focus on classes, is that better? Of course I'd be up for a visit from you! Name the date. As long as it's not a school.

Yeah, I'm glad it's helping you sleep better. I need to start working on that one myself. I don't want to take the sleeping draught I've been prescribed but... sometimes. I must.

Yes, Viktor Krum don't be daft. Harry! I won't replace you! But he has always been my friend, you know that. I haven't talk to him yet... but I'm hoping to soon. I'd like to catch up... we've missed a lot of time.

Nah, it's too late for that now. No funny comments from me. Don't worry, I'm sure that you'll get something funny some other time. And are you really just focusing on your classes? Doesn't that get boring after a while? Not that I'm judging you. 

Ummm ... how does your next Hogwarts trip sound? I can meet you in the Three Broomsticks if you want? Or would you rather meet somewhere else?

I can understand needing help to sleep. I guess the only advice I can give is to clear your mind ... then again, you have access to the library so I'm sure you can get more information than I can give you. But if you ever want me to try and describe it to you, let me know. I'll do my best to help.

Don't call me daft! I was just checking! I know you two have already been friends and I think it's cool that he's working there. Maybe I'll write him sometime too ... we'll see.

Yes, that sounds lovely. I think we're doing a day trip at the end of the month. The Broomsticks is perfect, at our normal table?

Please, feel free to describe your method of clearing your mind before bed to me. I'd like to hear what works for you. It may work for me, too.

I think Viktor, or Professor Krum I guess, would like to hear from you. Heavens, calling him Professor is so strange. I don't even know if I'm allowed to speak to him like I used to.

I know you love classes, I just thought that after lots of exciting happening in school you mind find things kind of boring. Are you not going to tell me what these other things are? I'll keep it to myself, promise. I guess I'm just bored without you here. 

Sounds great! I'm excited to see you there. I know it's only been a little while, but I miss you.

I dunno, really. Haha, I guess I figured you would say you would just go to the library on that one. I guess, to clear my mind I try to get to a point where I can think of nothing. I start out by thinking of the things that stress me out during the day and then I let them go. Then I think of the things that made me happy before I let them go as well. And I focus on my breathing or my heartbeat or something that's relaxing and then I just sort of drift into sleep, if that makes any sense. Sorry I can't be more help.

Do you think I should just owl him? Or would that be weird for me to do that out of the blue? Maybe I can look for him when I come to Hogsmeade and then start an owl after that ... I'm sure you can talk to him however you want. You've been friends for a while, you know.
